ABOUT ME

My love of training started when I was 13 years old. I wasn’t in great shape and had poor self- esteem. I started working out in my parents’ basement with the few weights they had and I was instantly hooked. It was incredible to see how I could change myself physically and gain self-confidence, doing something that was fun! This continued into high school where I made use of the school weight room to better my performance as a wrestler and rugby player.

After high school, I attended the University of Manitoba to further my knowledge on training and physical activity in their Kinesiology program. Also at this time, I got my foot into the door of this industry and started teaching group fitness classes. Shortly after, I became a Certified Personal Trainer through CSEP and started training clients. I was able to apply all of the information I have learned from school and my personal experience to help them achieve their goals.

I graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and have been working as a trainer since. I have trained clients from all walks of life, from university athletes, to military members getting ready for occupational testing, to grandparents that just want to be able to keep up with their grandkids a little easier.

I regularly participate in continued education opportunities to better equip myself with knowledge, nuance and context to better help my clients reach their goals. It is my mission to teach my clients how to achieve their goals and to reap the rewards that physical activity and training can bring!

If you want to get closer to achieving your goals, send me an email. I would love the opportunity to connect and help any way I can!
